Erin Maxon is a community arts practitioner and drama facilitator with contagious enthusiasm for working with all people. She uses cross-arts methods to engage participants in reflexive, non-hierarchical exchange and feels privileged to train artists and school teachers to do the same. Erin has her masters in Applied Drama from Goldsmiths College and a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Theater and Performance Studies from the UC Berkeley.
Erin’s experience stems from her work with literacy-through theatre programs, theatre companies, refugee charities, inclusive children’s theatres, national heritage programs, older people’s theatre troupes, and time spent teaching and learning in England, Japan, and Madagascar. She has been seen on stage with Theatre Rhinoceros, Ragged Wing Ensemble, CounterPulse, Bald Productions, Brookside Repertory Theatre, and Lawrence Hall of Science’s Science Discovery Theatre.
